Soldotna Sweater Set
Please note: This is a listing for the yarn only and does not include the pattern, which is available for purchase on Ravelry.
Soldotna Crop is a fabulous pattern by Caitlin Hunter - you can find the Ravelry page for the pattern right here and I'm offering sets of the yarn I used to create my Soldotna, on my Merino DK base.
The colours included are:
C1 - Deep Feelings
C2 - Glass Slipper
C3 - Blue Rinse
C4 - Midnight Sun
There are two sets available - the first includes one skein of each colourway and is plenty to knit the first three sizes in the pattern, the second has two skeins of Deep Feelings and Glass Slipper - perfect for the larger sizes or if you'd like to add any length to your sweater.
The pattern is available from 32.75" to 56" (please see the pattern page linked above for more details). The sample shown is a 44.5" - I used the smaller set option - with one skein of each colourway, but I played serious yarn chicken with my skein of Glass Slipper - so I recommend buying the second kit option for sizes 44.5" upwards, in case your gauge differs.
Merino DK is a bouncy superwash Merino DK weight, perfect for cosy sweaters and next to skin accessories.
DK weight, 230m / 251yds to 115g skein.
Superwash wool is machine washable - I recommend using a wool/delicates cycle, or a 30 degree wash and laying flat to dry. I recommend washing items separately or hand washing for the first few washes as minimal colour bleeding may occur.
A note about my yarn hand dyed yarn:
Unless otherwise noted, all my colourways are repeatable, however no two skeins are identical.
All yarn is from a smoke-free, cat friendly environment (although the cats are not allowed to play in the yarn!).
