Industrial Kingfisher (Low Contrast) - Merino Nylon - Fingering Weight

Industrial Kingfisher (Low Contrast) - Merino Nylon - Fingering Weight

  • £20.00

This batch of Industrial Kingfisher isn't as vibrantly high contrast as usual.

Industrial Kingfisher is a pale variegated grey colourway with a liberal speckling of a teal blue green, a rusted orange and a small amount of a warm yellow gold. This colourway started out as a one of a kind dyelot - that I liked too much not to re-dye!

Merino Nylon is a soft, fingering weight blend of 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon. The nylon content makes it perfect for socks, but it's still plenty soft enough for shawls, sweaters etc.

Fingering weight, 425m / 464yds.

Superwash wool is machine washable - I recommend using a wool/delicates cycle, or a 30 degree wash and laying flat to dry. I recommend washing items separately or hand washing for the first few washes as minimal colour bleeding may occur.

A note about my yarn hand dyed yarn:

Unless otherwise noted, all my colourways are repeatable, however no two skeins are identical.

All yarn is from a smoke-free, cat friendly environment (although the cats are not allowed to play in the yarn!).
